Entry Requirement

M.Sc. Programme:

5 O’ Level credits including English language and at least a pass in Mathematics.

B.Sc/PGD Sociology with a minimum of second class lower division of not less than 3.0 on a 5-point scale from a recognized University.

Evidence of NYSC/Exemption Certificate for Nigerian students

Ph.D Programme:

Masters Degree with a CGPA of at least 3.5 on a 5-Pont scale.

A concept proposal not less than 5pages in applicant’s area of specialization/interest.

 

Course Duration & Career Prospect

Duration

M.Sc. Programme:

Full Time: Minimum of four semesters and a maximum of six semesters.

Part Time: Minimum of six semesters and a maximum of ten semesters.

Ph.D Programme:

Full Time: Minimum of six semesters and a maximum of ten semesters

Career Prospect

When successfully completed the programme, graduates should be able to deal with issues relating to post-harvest losses with the view of making contribution to national development effort as a Teacher, Researcher, Administrator, or Entrepreneur.
