Entry Requirement

M.Sc. Programme:

Five O’ Level Credits in not more than two sittings in relevant science subjects including Mathematics and English language (i.e Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, English language and any other subject).

Bachelor’s Degree with Second Class honours in Zoology, Environmental Sciences, Biology, Botany or Biotechnology from a recognized university.

Evidence of NYSC/Exemption Certificate for Nigerian students.

Ph.D Programme:

Minimum CGPA of 3.50 at Masters (M.Sc) degree in Fish Processing and Preservation Technology, Fisheries, Hydrobiology as well as Zoology from a recognized University.

Course Duration & Career Prospect

M.Sc. Programme:

Full Time: Minimum of four semesters and a maximum of six semesters.

Part Time: Minimum of six semesters and a maximum of eight semesters.

Ph.D Programme:

Full Time: Minimum of six semesters and a maximum of eight semesters.

Part Time: Minimum of eight semesters and a maximum of twelve semesters.
